Dark green varieties lend aslightly bitter taste to juices, so use only the lighter green variety of lettuce. It is easier to juice firm rather than softer leaves.

- 2 to 3 lettuce leaves (preferably iceberg), roughly chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp black salt (sanchal) (optional)
