WIRE WATCH: Biden to Florida; First Lady on School Nutrition; AMA Conference

Talking on Sunshine: Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Florida today for two events. The first in Clermont with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson to deliver remarks at a local construction side and later in Orlando to speak at the AFL-CIOs Winter Executive Council Meeting.

Clean Living: First Lady Michelle Obama speaks on kids’ nutrition and the Let’s Move! Campaign, her effort to combat childhood obesity, at the School Nutrition Association’s Legislative Action Conference.

An Apple a Day: The American Medical Association kicks off their three-day national advocacy conference in Washington, D.C. today, the same day a Medicare physician payment cut goes in to effect because the Senate failed to head off the cut before they adjourned last week. The chamber is expected to try again in short order.

Gladly Pay You Tuesday: House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will speak today at the Brookings Institution on his vision to to build momentum behind fiscal reforms.
